High Line Canal Segment 9
If you’re not interested in hiking the entire High Line, buy The Best Urban Hikes: Denver, which has several hikes, out n backs, and loops that incorporate pieces of the High Line. See details about this segment, below.
Starting at Mamie D Eisenhower Park, the trail passes a concrete bench with an historical marker, then makes its way underneath I25. It makes a double horse shoe shape, looping around James A Bible Park and then dropping into neighborhoods. You’ll finish just south of the convergence of the Cherry Creek and the High Line, near a shed, which is the remains of a ditchrider’s house.
